Taylor eagerly looking forward to Circus Tavern return for World Seniors: “The chance to become a World Champion again has given me a new lease of life”

Phil Taylor will be one of the leading names in the first iteration of the World Seniors Darts Championship which is set to take place next February at the hallowed Circus Tavern.

Taylor hopes to get a specific familiar face in the first round and cannot wait to take on all comers at the legendary venue.

“The World Seniors Darts championship will be held at Circus Tavern in 2022. I cannot wait. Peter Manley is back – I hope I get him first round,” said Taylor to Oche.

“I’ll be back on the practice board, taking it dead serious and taking them all on at the Seniors.

“It would be great to rattle a few cages again. I would love to see the look on a few people’s faces if they land me in the draw.

“Most people probably start thinking about winding down when they reach 60, but the chance to become a World Champion again has given me a new lease of life.”
