Whitlock and Van Dongen successful together in pairs and mixed triples tournament in Las Vegas

None other than World Cup winner Simon Whitlock played some tournaments with Jules van Dongen at the Las Vegas Open in the United States last weekend.

The American-Australian duo were quite successful together. Among other things, they managed to win the men's tournament. Van Dongen and Whitlock won 3-0 over Jason Watt and Jacob Taylor in the final. Incidentally, the latter duo was still too strong for the Dutch pair Danny van Trijp and Damian Mol in the semi-final.

Van Dongen and Whitlock also won the mixed triples tournament. They did so together with Katie Falla, Whitlock's girlfriend. The trio defeated Trish Grzesik, Jim Widmayer and Elliot Milk 3-1.
