Son of legend Paul Lim wins WDF tournament in Las Vegas

Chris Lim won the singles tournament of the Las Vegas Open last weekend. This tournament falls under the banner of the World Darts Federation (WDF).

Lim was too strong in the final 6-5 over former UK Open finalist Gary Mawson, after previously beating Jim Long (4-2) and Leonard Gates (5-3), among others.

The 36-year-old Lim is the son of darts legend Paul Lim, but has US citizenship, unlike his Singaporean father. Father Paul Lim, who lived in America for many years, also played on behalf of the United States himself at the end of the last century, but decided to take up Singaporean citizenship again after the country joined the WDF.
