The 2020 European Darts Grand Prix (ET2) in Sindelfingen is the latest PDC European Tour event to be postponed due to the Coronavirus epidemic.
One of the most well known stops on the
European Tour, it was slated to take place next weekend (March 20-22); but this has been changed due to measures put in place by federal governments in Germany to prohibit gatherings of over 1,000 due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
This comes after the news that broke on Tuesday which saw events in Leverkusen (ET3) and Munich (ET4)
postponed. A Players Championship weekend was put in earlier today to replace the postponed event in Leverkusen; which will
take place in Milton Keynes.
Like with the other events, the PDC are now working with PDC Europe to schedule new dates for these events; with the potential for other tournaments to be moved to accommodate these dates. Further amendments will be announced in due course.
