Last weekend the fifth tournament of the PDC European Tour 2022 was played. The European Darts Open in Leverkusen was eventually won by Michael van Gerwen, who dealt with Dimitri van den Bergh (8-5) in the final. The event was summarized in numbers by statistician Philipp Wolff.
In total 45 games were played. These matches resulted in 408 legs and 12,085 darts thrown. Fifteen times an average of over a hundred was recorded, while the tournament average was 93.41.
A total of 243 171+ scores were thrown, of which 231 was the maximum 180 score. The overall finish percentage was 36.62 percent, while 42 finishes of a hundred or more were thrown, with 164 being the highest.
