Luke Littler's popularity knows no bounds these days. Now even Warrington Wolves, one of Britain's best rugby teams, has decided to temporarily rename their stadium the Luke Littler Stadium. Littler has been a fan of this club since he was a kid, so it is an absolute honor that they are going to name the stadium after him.

Warrington Wolves, a rugby club that plays in the Super League, the highest level in Britain, renamed Halliwell Jones Stadium "The Luke Littler Stadium" for their opening match of the competition.

Littler will be the guest of honor on that night and lead the team out. He will also parade across the field with his world championship trophy during halftime.

Littler commented: "It's a dream come true that the club I've been a fan of since I was young has decided to name the stadium after me for a night. It's an absolute honour and I can't thank the club enough

Karl Fitzpatrick, general manager of Warrington Wolves, said: "Luke's achievements on the world stage have been nothing short of incredible, and we are immensely proud to celebrate his success with this special homecoming.

"He's a true Warrington fan, and therefore renaming our stadium in his honour for our home opener is a fitting tribute."

Littler was still competing at the Winmau World Masters last weekend, where he lost 4-2 to Jonny Clayton in the quarterfinals. However, the 18-year-old Englishman has little time to rest, as tomorrow the Premier League Darts kicks off. Littler, who starts this PDC major as the defending champion, will take on Michael van Gerwen on opening night in Belfast in what will be a replay of the last World Cup final. Back then, Littler prevailed 7-3 to capture his first world title.
