It is a second nine-dart finish in as many minutes at Players Championship 6 but it wasn't the second part of the two Luke's tandem as Alan Soutar hit one against Luke Littler minutes after Luke Humphries hit his.
Soutar hit his in a losing effort though as he was defeated by 'The Nuke' who pinned a 107 average in sealing the win. Littler himself pinned one on Tuesday as it similarly rained nine-dart finishes for part of the tournament.
Gary Anderson also hit one to open up the day and so now it is Humphries and Soutar. The former hit one against Andy Boulton earlier in the first round averaging 108.71 in the process.
Soutar hit his to go 5-4 up but in reality it proved to be an unlucky one as he went on to lose the final two legs to bow out early.
