Anderson after edging past Wright in nervy decider: 'That's a great win for me'

Kyle Anderson came through a nervy deciding leg victory against Peter Wright on the opening day of action at the Brisbane Darts Masters to set up an all-Australian Quarter-Final with Simon Whitlock.

Anderson went 3-0 up but let the lead slip and had to survive multiple match darts from 'Snakebite' before completing the win himself and he called it a great win.

He added that he kept focused and got the job done. On the tie with Whitlock he said they will be ready to put on a good game in front of the Brisbane crowd.

"That's a great win for me tonight (Friday)," said Anderson, the 2017 Auckland Darts Masters winner. "I started really well and nearly let it slip away but I kept focused and got the job done.

"Everyone knows what goes on between me and Simon and we will both be ready to put on another good game."
