Anderson sets up Nordic Darts Masters final clash with Van den Bergh after Wade win

Gary Anderson will look to seal a seventh World Series of Darts title and his first since 2018 when he takes on Dimitri van den Bergh shortly at the Nordic Darts Masters in Copenhagen.

Anderson in moving through battled past James Wade in an 11-7 win despite only a 89 average with four 180's and missing 15 darts at double throughout the contest with 'The Machine'.

To begin the tie, Anderson was only averaging just under that mark but still breezed into a commanding 4-1 lead. Wade at the interval closed that gap to 6-4 despite both struggling to reach their best.

Anderson hit a 180 to leave double three which he hit in the requisite leg after Wade missed three darts for a break of throw at 7-4 up. But Wade sealed three legs on the spin to reduce that deficit to only one at 8-7 down.

But again Anderson survived the pressure and streaked away with an 11-darter to go one leg from the final before sealing the deal in unorthodox fashion going double one and then finally double 17 for 36.
