The fourth round at the UK Open has reached it's conclusion with Gary Anderson set to be in the draw for the fifth round after surviving a late comeback from Steve Beaton.

Beaton who accounted for him 12 months ago did not repeat the feat but the belief was there towards the end with Anderson faltering but a late surge saw the former UK Open champion move through with a 99 average and 52 percent on the doubles.
Anderson led comfortably to start the game leading 4-1 at the break as he pulled away from 'The Bronzed Adonis' to begin the tie.
Beaton though kept with him and saw the gap close to two at 5-3 down but this was soon widened again after a break of throw and a hold with a 100 checkout saw him go 7-3 up and ahead again.
When they returned from the break, he went two away with a 112 checkout to go 8-4 up but Beaton kept in proceedings after Anderson couldn't hit a 132 checkout.
This proved pivotal potentially as Beaton stole a break of throw and held to go 8-7 behind and put the initiative on Anderson as 'The Flying Scotsman' began to falter.
Anderson missed darts to hold but so Beaton missed a golden opportunity on 68 and Anderson went one away on double five. 'The Flying Scotsman' claimed it with a 106 checkout though.

Dobey and Ratajski produce brilliance and Lewis dumped out by Lowe

Over on the other boards though produced one of the most stunning displays of darts so far this year on Board 2 as Chris Dobey edged past Krzysztof Ratajski.
An insane standard throughout saw both players pepper the trouble and pounce on any mistake from their opponent.
It went all the way to a decider which it deserved and it was 'Hollywood' who hit a 91 checkout on the bull from a seemingly impossible angle to claim the victory with a 105 average, it was the same for 'The Polish Eagle' but he is denied his big TV breakthrough potentiall by a game worthy of the main stage.
Adrian Lewis would have thought he would have been on his way to victory against Jason Lowe but for 'Jackpot' it was an early exit as he claimed 10 legs on the spin to crush 'Jackpot'.
Two-time champion James Wade put his name in the hat for the next round with victory over John Henderson and in-form Michael Smith eased past James Wilson 10-4 as the action concludes on the opening day in Minehead.
