The next Quarter-Finalists are confirmed at the Belgian Darts Championship with Nathan Aspinall and Dirk van Duijvenbode through to the final session in Hasselt.
Aspinall produced a brilliant display to edge past James Wade in a 6-4 win. The in-form Stockport ace has shown a lot of his form this year away from the TV on the ProTour but has brought it onto the
European Tour.
This was shown with a 103.2 average and four 180's as he moves into the latter stages in Belgium. Can he go all the way especially with Van Gerwen now out?
Van Duijvenbode will have something to say about that. 'The Titan' has been playing the darts of his life this season already and is now into his first European Tour Quarter-Final of his career.
He faced off against friend and compatriot, Jeffrey de Zwaan and barring some crowd interference from people calling out, he produced once again in a 6-4 win.
This saw him go into a 3-1 lead including a 115 checkout and then De Zwaan came back and hit the front but a pivotal point came when DvDB hit a brilliant 121 checkout on the bull to break throw and from there he sealed the tie up.
