Nathan Aspinall claimed victory at the US Darts Masters and as a result currently sits at the top of the World Series Order of Merit at the early stage of the season.
He currently has 12 points for claiming the title ahead of Michael Smith in second place who has eighth. The top eight players from the Order of Merit below will qualify for the season ending finals in Amsterdam.
This encompasses the events in Germany, Australia and New Zealand which are to come in the next month. Aspinall and Smith at the minute have likely confirmed their spot in Amsterdam with their run in Las Vegas.
It will be interesting to see how much it changes when the
World Series legs in Australia and New Zealand conclude next month and who will be involved in the finals.
