Barry started the day with a 5-1 win over Scott Marsh in which he hit a 98.6 average and two 180's. He followed that up with a sign of things to come as he averaged 106 with four 180's and high finishes of 128 and 123 in easing past Diogo Portela 5-2.

He was below his best against Jose Justicia but still came through 5-2 but hit a 102.5 average in defeating Martin Adams 5-3.

It was a double win as he smashed in a 107.4 average to ease past David Evans 5-0 with 5/5 on the doubles in a perfect end to the day. Evans himself didn't play badly averaging 105 but had to then settle for third in the end on the standings.

Martin Adams finished second with only his defeat to Barry standing between winning another group this week.

There will be 15 games a day which will be best of 9 legs with two Pools set to be involved as usual. It begins everyday as a result at 10:30 am running till 5:00 pm and sees live action continue.
