Bedlington duo Dobey and Rydz dumped out with ease in whitewash defeats to Sedlacek and Suljovic at German Darts Championship

It was a night to forget for the two Bedlington aces as Chris Dobey and Callan Rydz were dumped out of the German Darts Championship in whitewash defeats as the Last 16 line-up has been confirmed.

Dobey lost out to the brilliant Karel Sedlacek who backed up his victory over Adrian Lewis with a stunning win which 'Hollywood' had no answer for.

He averaged 95.94 in the end and 'Evil Charlie' will return on Sunday to face top seed, Jose de Sousa.

A player that will be on the European Tour a lot in the coming months due to qualifying for a string of them, he has made the best possible start knocking out the 16th seed with only two legs dropped all tournament.

While Rydz was dumped out by Mensur Suljovic who took advantage of a poor display from 'The Riot' who also lost in a whitewash defeat.

Suljovic only averaged 90 in moving through but didn't need to be at his best as he punished a 73.66 average from his opponent. He will have to be better tomorrow though when he faces Jonny Clayton who was ultra impressive against Scott Waites earlier.
