The new PDC darts season has thirty Players Championship tournaments, the same as last year. Divided over five cities, fifteen double-headers will be played during the Pro Tour 2020 season.
Through the Players Championship tournaments, players can earn prize money to qualify for the major tournaments. Players can also qualify for the Players Championship Finals in Minehead. The top 64 of the Players Championship Order of Merit qualifies for this event.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
