In the first event, while Super 16 finalist Luke Littler went out early, other JDC standouts Leighton Bennett, Henry Coates and Harry Gregory all moved through.
Bennett took on Care in the Quarter-Finals but it was the latter who got the better of 'Boom Boom' in a last leg decider in a match that proved to be pivotal for the latter.
Jack Barrows later awaited Care in the final making his first one at his first attempt on the JDC circuit but he lost to the impressive youngster 5-1 with a 74.5 average.
In the second event, it was another impressive event from Care as he met Worcester's own Harry Martin who took on Ieuan Halsall after previously defeating the likes of Harry Gregory and Alfie Jacques en route.
Despite that though he was edged out by Care in the final, which is match that included a 170 and 116 from Martin in his winning legs but it was the former who was too strong in the end.
