Challenge Tour set to return this weekend with events 9-12 in Peterborough

The PDC Challenge Tour resumes this weekend with a weekend of action at the East of England Arena in Peterborough with four events set to take place over Saturday and Sunday.

The Challenge Tour circuit is open to players who participated in the Q-School but did not win a Tour Card over the duration in Wigan or Hildesheim.

On this periphery tour you can earn reserve spots in the Players Championship series when players in the original 128 pull out and also number one and two on the Challenge Tour ranking will be offered a PDC Tour Card at the end of the season for the two following seasons.

As well as that the leader in the Order of Merit which is currently Stephen Burton will gain a place at the World Championship but with there being a number of weekends still to go it is still very much up in the air.
