Scott Williams stood out with back-to-back Challenge Tour triumphs as well as on his first weekend on the ProTour and before the latter, he signed with Target Darts.
Only playing darts for a few years, Williams also played at the BDO World Championship in the final edition and has been making a steady rise which he will now aim to continue with Target.
"It's incredible to be here, this wasn't something I expected to do anytime soon, but I know Target is the best brand around so I am absolutely over the moon," he said on signing.
"It has been hard because where I am from isn't a hugely competitive darts environment, I have always had to push myself and eventually I began competing for county and then in the super league. The biggest impact on my career came when I met Rob Cross, I have been lucky enough to train and learn from him which has really helped me to push to the next level."
