Chisnall faced Humphries also in the final of the Baltic Sea Darts Open in Kiel and it was victory again for the St Helens ace who also saw off Michael van Gerwen earlier in the evening en route to the title.
Chisnall missed a dart to double his lead and break throw and Humphries hit double 10 for 1-1. Chisnall made it 2-1 hitting double eight for a hold.
Chisnall hit a 180 and Humphries slipped on the 76 allowing ‘Chizzy’ back for 57 for 3-1 and a break of throw. Chisnall missed 170 for 4-1 but still returned eventually to seal it.
Chisnall was in danger of going further ahead but Humphries halted it momentarily at 4-2 as he soon made it 5-2.
It was a fifth 180 for Chisnall, Humphries missed 62 for a hold but 115 couldn’t be pinned by Chisnall and Humphries made it 5-3.
A sixth 180 left 38 for Chisnall and he went straight for it and pinned it for 6-3. Another leg, another 180 as Chisnall hit number seven to pressure Humphries but he hit 87 to make it 6-4.

Humphries finally broke and made it 6-5 and was throwing for parity. Chisnall missed 136 to break back and go one away but Humphries could only pressure as ‘Chizzy’ took out double four for 7-5.
He missed two match darts from 100 but returned for double 10 finally.
