Chisnall hits nine-dart finish en route to victory over Wade and faces Aspinall in semi-finals

Dave Chisnall landed a brilliant nine-dart finish to edge past James Wade in the quarter-finals at the Gibraltar Darts Trophy.

The 39-year-old hit the perfect leg in the second leg of the match. Chisnall followed this up with 116 and 127 finishes to move 3-2 ahead. He kept this lead and finished the game in the tenth leg with a 15-darter.

Chisnall will face Nathan Aspinall in the semi-finals after the UK Open champion beat Peter Wright 6-3. 'The Asp' claimed the win in the nineth leg with a superb 12-dart leg.
