After his victory over Luke Humphries in the final of the 2023 Dutch Darts Championship, Dave Chisnall has overtaken Gerwyn Price and is the new leader on the European Tour.
With his win on Sunday night being his second European Tour title of the year following his earlier success at the Baltic Sea Open where Chisnall also defeated Luke Humphries in the final, the 42-year-old from St Helens has now amassed a total prize money haul of £72,000.
Gerwyn Price who was absent from Leeuwarden over the weekend, has dropped to second on the European Tour Order of Merit whilst losing finalist Luke Humphries has risen to 9th.
At the end of the season, the 32 best players in the final rankings will compete in the European Championship in Dortmund. This tournament is scheduled from 26 to 29 October.
