Chris Dobey fumes at German fans: ''Unfortunately the crowd was very disrespectful''

Chris Dobey was not popular with the German fans in Munich after 'Hollywood' lost at the German Darts Grand Prix this weekend.

Dobey was constantly booed and booed by the fans in attendance, who had rallied en masse behind Martin Schindler. After the match ended, the Englishman quickly reported on social media to voice his displeasure.

"Wow, how they have a nerve to complain when they get booed etc…. in UK. Great game to be involved in but unfortunately crowd very disrespectful," Dobey concluded.

In November 2023, Ricardo Pietreczko walked furiously off the stage after the English audience booed him in his match against Beau Greaves at the Grand Slam of Darts. The German decided not to give the crowd a look in his subsequent match against Nathan Aspinall.
