Clayton back in top 16 on PDC Order of Merit, Hughes drops out top 32

The PDC Order of Merit has been updated after the latest European Tour tournament has dropped off the ranking in the form of the 2019 Czech Darts Open.

This has meant changes for two players in particular in the Order of Merit in Premier League champion Jonny Clayton and title winner, Jamie Hughes.

Clayton positively moves into the top 16 in the world which has been a likelihood for a while heading into the World Matchplay with 'The Ferret's sights firmly now on moving even higher to avoid certain seeded players early on in Blackpool.

This moving up has meant that Ian White has dropped out of the Last 16 as a result.

While for Hughes, due to not defending his title with no European Tour tournaments happening so far this year, he has dropped down six spots to 34th in the Order of Merit.

Around this mark there have been rises though with Gabriel Clemens (+1 to 25), Adrian Lewis and Jeffrey de Zwaan (+1 to 28 and 29), Luke Humphries (+2 to 30) as well as Brendan Dolan and Ricky Evans all gaining on Hughes into 32 and 33rd respectively.
