Clayton-Noppert and Cullen-Gurney among Last 16 ties at Players Championship 16

It is down to the business end at Players Championship 16 in Leicester with Jonny Clayton, Joe Cullen and James Wade still involved in the East Midlands.
Prior two are involved in tie of the rounds with Clayton set to face Danny Noppert, while for Cullen, it is Daryl Gurney.
Others still involved include Dirk van Duijvenbode who is set to face Connor Scutt, a welcome run for Ronny Huybrechts who faces Jose de Sousa. Wade will face Vincent van der Voort and Andrew Gilding takes on Christian Kist.

What is the prize money at the Players Championship tournaments?
The PDC has provided a prize pool of £3 million for the Players Championship circuit. At each Players Championship tournament, 100,000 in prize money is distributed. Reaching the second round earns £750. This eventually rises to £12,000 for the winner of the tournament.

- It seems odd that at the World Championship they have dancing ladies in hot pants and pom poms and yet the walk on ladies who were much more elegantly attired get removed from the scene.
