Gabriel Clemens and Dave Chisnall are the next players who have picked up points at the Grand Slam of Darts with Group E and Group G action starting in Wolverhampton.

Clemens was impressive against Brendan Dolan hitting a 99.4 average and a brilliant 121 checkout en route against 'The History Maker' who himself has enjoyed a real resurgence as of late.
Chisnall fired in four 180's and averaged 97 with 5/6 on the doubles in what was a brilliant win over Jamie Hughes 5-3, 'Yozza' played well to begin the tie but missed doubles saw Chisnall streak to a brilliant win.
Clemens started proceedings in style going 2-0 up with a break of throw including seven perfect darts and from there he extended his strangle hold on proceedings going 3-0 up with a hold.
Dolan finally got off the mark but from there Clemens continued to build and went 4-1 up. A 121 checkout which only just lodged itself in the bull saw Clemens claim the win and a potentially important one for the German Giant.
Chisnall had an excellent start pouncing on missed darts from Hughes and a 124 checkout on the bull saw him go 1-0 up. Hughes replied with an excellent 121 checkout on the bull to reply instantly.
A rapid fire 81 checkout saw Chisnall go 2-1 up. Hughes was on 137 and set up double eight to break to ask the question of Chisnall which is one he didn't answer and the Tipton ace levelled it up at 2-2.
'Yozza' held throw on double eight to hold throw and go 3-2 up. Hughes missed multiple opportunities to break again and Chisnall held throw to level again,
An 81 checkout threw the tie the way of Chisnall as he went one away from the finishing line. He concluded proceedings from there to pick up an impressive win against the local player.
