One player is through to the knockout stages of the 2021 Grand Slam of Darts and another is closing in on his spot with Ryan Joyce the former after breezing past Rowby-John Rodriguez 5-1.
Joyce saw off Stephen Bunting yesterday who will face the Austrian in what will be a battle for the second spot.
While 'Relentless' will have the next round in his sights after averaging 108 and hitting three 180's and 63% on the doubles.
This meant that despite an average of 101 from Rodriguez, he was dealt a heavy defeat.
While for Rob Cross, he is close to winning through after seeing off Jim Williams 5-3.
Cross has been in superb form as of late and saw off 'The Quiff' with a 97 average and 56% on the doubles to be the first player on four points and likely move through.
All eyes will be on Jim Williams and James Wade who will face Boris Krcmar and the European Champion respectively with the second spot firmly up for grabs.
