Cross on verge of £1m Order of Merit barrier after European Championship victory

In some stats compiled after the European Championship, Rob Cross was revealed as reaching the highest point on his Order of Merit in terms of money.

Cross is now at £0.999 million and is on the verge of reaching the million pound mark for the first time. As a comparison he has done that in only a few years with the PDC compared to Phil Taylor who it took till 2010 to reach that mark.

Even Michael van Gerwen in today's climate, it took him till January 2017 to reach his career high of £1.832 million.

Other ones include Gary Anderson with £0.911 million back in 2016 and Adrian Lewis with £0.562 million was all the way back in 2012.

It will now be interesting with Cross how far he can go in terms of extending this and whether or not he can eclipse potentially further marks set by the aforementioned players.
