Cullen and Humphries reach last eight in Budapest

Joe Cullen and Luke Humphries have made it to the last eight at the Hungarian Darts Trophy in Budapest. On Sunday night the two Englishmen meet each other in the Quarter-Finals.

Cullen, the number one seed this tournament, claimed a 6-4 victory over Rob Cross. The Rockstar broke Cross in the third leg with a 13-darter and kept that break for the rest of the match. Cullen finished the match with an 86 finish in the tenth leg.

Humphries won the match 6-2 against James Wade, who missed two darts on the doubles in the fourth and fifth leg. Therefore the score was not 4-1 for The Machine, but 3-2 for Humphries. The latter then won another three legs to book his place in the next round.
