Cullen edges past Bates, Payne impressive against Webster and Johnson survives comeback from Price

The second round continues at the Dutch Darts Championship in Maastricht with Joe Cullen, Josh Payne and Darren Johnson all making it through to the final day.

Cullen had to dig deep in his clash with Barrie Bates, he ran out a 6-4 winner with an 89 average to move through to yet another final day of action.
Payne was impressive against Darren Webster defying a 93 average to ease through a 6-3 winner.
Finally, Johnson survived a late fight back and three match darts in the decider to see off Gerwyn Price. ‘Dynamite’ seems to be getting back in to some form and this win will give his World Championship and European Championship hopes some good.
