The second round continues at the 2022
Austrian Darts Open with
Joe Cullen opening his campaign with victory despite two seeds falling as the afternoon session continues.
Cullen was facing a tricky test in Jim Williams but got off and running with a 6-4 victory over the recent first time ranking winner.
This featured a 98 average, five 180's and a high checkout of 152 and he now moves into the final day.
As does
Zoran Lerchbacher with 'The Hypercane' continuing to impress the home faithful with only Rowby-John Rodriguez the other representative still involved.
Lerchbacher won in style yesterday with a 157 checkout but didn't have to produce such heroics this time as he punished an out of sorts Ryan Searle in a 6-3 victory to dump out the first of two seeds.
With the other falling being Brendan Dolan. It was
Gabriel Clemens who accounted for him in a 6-3 success for 'The German Giant'.
All capped off with a 137 checkout on two double tops. Without the pressure of the home faithful which is usually the case, could Clemens thrive this weekend in Graz?
