Danny Jansen retaliates with quick title on PDC Challenge Tour

Danny Jansen won the second tournament of the PDC Challenge Tour 2024 on Friday night. The Dutchman managed to win as nine matches in a row claim his maiden Challenge Tour title.

Jansen successively beat Chris Quantock (5-3), Peter Burgoyne (5-4), Wesley Plaisier (5-1), Christian Kist (5-3), Charlie Martin (5-3), Sam Spivey (5-1), Ross Montgomery (5-2), John Henderson (5-3) and Darryl Pilgrim (5-3) to secure the title.

The title is a huge boost for Jansen, who lost his PDC Tour Card after missing out on the World Darts Championship. Through the Challenge Tour, 'The Mullet' can try to earn back his Tour Card this season. There are also two World Championship spots on offer at the end of the season through the Challenge Tour Order of Merit.
