Darren Webster, Boris Krcmar, Rusty-Jake Rodriguez and Florian Hempel secured the final four starting spots for the World Darts Championship on Monday afternoon. The field of participants for Ally Pally is now complete.
In Barnsley, 59 Tour Card holders got the last chance to force qualification for the World Darts Championship. Big names like Mervyn King, Vincent van der Voort, Jeffrey de Zwaan and Mensur Suljovic were stranded early in the tournament.
Darren Webster, who will return to Alexandra Palace after three missed editions defeated Daniel Klose. Pascal Rupprecht looked to be the second German winner and joining Florian Hempel who'd ended Alan Soutar's hopes, but a 124 finish by Boris Krcmar meant that this World Championship ticket went to the Croatian. Rusty-Jake Rodriguez also qualified for the World Darts Championship by winning 7-1 over George Killington.
