De Sousa, Huybrechts and Klaasen among players through to second round at World Series of Darts Finals Qualifier

The first round of action at the World Series of Darts Finals qualifier is complete with the likes of Jose de Sousa, Kim Huybrechts and Jelle Klaasen all through.

De Sousa averaged 94 in victory over Ross Smith 6-3. Huybrechts edged past Reece Robinson with a pedestrian average of around 84.
Klaasen played well in seeing off Alan Tabern 6-2 with a 96 average. Performance of the round came from Wayne Jones who averaged 100.4 in victory over Josh Payne.
The likes of Darius Labanauskas and Luke Humphries though were surprise losers to Peter Hudson and Benito van de Pas respectively.
One player from each quarter will claim victory and move into the event with four players joining the field which was strengthened by wildcards this past weekend.
