Jeffrey de Zwaan is showing cautious signs of optimism after a number of difficult years with 'The Black Cobra' almost fully fit again.
He has been struggling prior with calcification of a tendon in his shoulder but has had a final surgery in order to correct this issue hopefully once and for all.
"Finally finally after 2,5 years of throwing with pain, I can now finally say after being treated for the third time that the calcification on my biceps tendon is completely gone," he said on social media.
"The doctor said it will take a little time to recover fully but after that I’m totally pain free. I want to thank my sponsors and the people around me who always supported me and kept believing that it will be alright and from now on it’s Black Cobra time."
