Defending champion Price storms into International Darts Open final with victory over Durrant

The first finalist at the International Darts Open in Riesa is confirmed and it is Gerwyn Price after he saw off Glen Durrant with ease in the first semi-final.

Price is of course the defending champion and he showed why in a brilliant performance. He averaged 101.8 in seeing off Durrant in a 7-3 win.

This included a high checkout of 144 from 'The Iceman'. As soon as Durrant started to miss and Price collected the break and went 4-3 up, he began to move forward from there.

Following that he hit the aforementioned high checkout of 144 to break throw and go 5-3 up and followed it up with a 66 checkout to go one away.

He claimed the victory and will face either Peter Wright or Rob Cross who face off in the second semi-final shortly.
