Dobey leaves Unicorn Darts after years of partnership

The partnership between darter Chris Dobey and manufacturer Unicorn Darts has come to an end, both parties reported on Twitter. The partnership between Dobey and Unicorn began in 2016.

And that eventually led to several successes, culminating in Dobey's title at the Masters early this year. "It has been a pleasure to watch you grow from a Contender to a Major Champion and Premier League star," Unicorn wrote on social media.

Dobey also came up with a brief response. "Thank you for taking the chance on me when I first came on the scene if it wasn’t for you I may not be where I am today, it’s been a pleasure representing Unicorn over the past years."

New destination

There is a significant chance that Dobey has signed a contract with darts manufacturer Target Darts. This brand will come out with a new announcement on Friday, September 1, and includes a hint toward the nickname 'Hollywood'. Moreover, Dobey's good friend Nathan Aspinall is also sponsored by Target Darts.
