Dom Taylor impresses on European Tour debut; Darius Labanauskas and Ritchie Edhouse also through to last 32

Dom Taylor, Darius Labanauskas and Ritchie Edhouse advanced to the last 32 at the Austrian Darts Open on Friday afternoon. Taylor managed to impress on another debut on the European Tour.

He completely outplayed Austrian qualifier Christian Goedl 6-0 and recorded an average of 100.20. Among other things, Taylor threw three 14-darters and a 14-darter on his way to victory. He will face Krzysztof Ratajski in the second round.

Edhouse secured a spot in the second round of the Austrian Darts Open with a 6-4 victory over Arron Monk. 'The Madhouse' fell behind 3-1, but managed to win the next three legs via two 15-darters and a 14-darter. After Monk made it 4-4, Edhouse decided the game with a 62 finish and a 14-darter. Edhouse will face Dirk van Duijvenbode in the second round on Saturday afternoon.

Finally, Labanauskas also returns to the stage in the second round on Saturday. He defeated his good friend Madars Razma 6-1. The latter threw only 81 average, while Labanauskas didn't fare too well in Graz with 86 average either.
