Danny Noppert and Dirk van Duijvenbode joined the last sixteen at the Austrian Darts Open in Premstätten on Saturday night.
Noppert was too strong for Chris Dobey 6-4 in the second round. 'The Freeze' held his own throw in the ninth with a 68 finish before breaking Dobey with a 13-darter for the win. In the last sixteen, Noppert will face Nathan Aspinall.

Van Duijvenbode recorded a solid 6-4 win over Ryan Meikle. He defied three ton-plus checkouts in a thrilling affair to seal his spot in round three.
He was clinical converting 6/8 of his darts at double and averaged 99 en route to victory and both move into the final day in Graz.
