Draw and schedule 2022 International Darts Open: Price-Searle and Clayton-Cross among possible second round ties

The draw and schedule has been released ahead of the International Darts Open in Riesa which will take place between February 25-27 and sees the European Tour return with 48 players vying for the title.

Beginning on Friday with the first round, the seeded players enter in on Saturday with the top ties include Gabriel Clemens-Nico Kurz and Florian Hempel-Kim Huybrechts. With Dimitri van den Bergh and Rob Cross also among those in action in the first round.

Cross could yet have an intriguing second round opponent if he can get past Krzysztof Kciuk with Jonny Clayton waiting. While Gerwyn Price could take on Ryan Searle if he can see off Ritchie Edhouse.

Michael van Gerwen is set to face either compatriot Ron Meulenkamp or Keane Barry. Peter Wright faces either Luke Woodhouse or Andy Boulton.

While Joe Cullen who is defending champion is set to take on either Madars Razma or Wayne Jones.
