Draw and Schedule 2026 North American Darts Championship: Jim Long, Leonard Gates lead battle for Ally Pally spot at Madison Square Garden

As well as confirming the draw and schedule for the US Darts Masters, which takes place on Friday morning, the North American Darts Championship is also on the schedule on Friday evening.

Eight US and Canadian stars battle for qualification for the PDC World Darts Championship and Grand Slam of Darts respectively also at the same venue of the Theater at Madison Square Garden.

Top seed Jim Long plays top Canadian qualifier Brayden Hall to kick it off before America's premier player in Adam Sevada who qualified as thus with the CDC system faces off against two-time World Darts Championship qualifier, Alex Spellman.

Spellman won the CDC Continental Cup in order to qualify. 2022 North American Champion and a familiar face to all those who watch the PDC World Darts Championship, Leonard Gates, known as a darting showman, will also take to the oche. 'Soulger' faces off against debutant Fred Krueger.

Before David Cameron, who won through the CDC Cross Border Challenge and is another familiar face, faces off against former UK Open finalist, Gary Mawson. It will be played to a finish on the Friday, so in the end we will get a player who will qualify for both tournaments. Only Jim Long is a PDC Tour Card holder too, so in theory, unlike recent years, we won't get a player winning it who qualifies for Ally Pally through different means unless the Canadian gets in.

They also play on Thursday night against the top PDC stars, including Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, among others, before they take to the oche again, so they will get at least two bites of the cherry in the iconic venue, no matter if they win their opener or not in the US Darts Masters.
