Draw confirmed for 2024 US Darts Masters as reigning champion Van Gerwen set for rapid fire clash with Lauby

The draw has been confirmed for the 2024 US Darts Masters with reigning champion Michael van Gerwen set for a rapid fire clash with Danny Lauby at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Friday's first round will see eight PDC stars take on eight North American representatives for a place in Saturday's latter stages. Top seed Van Gerwen who won at the Dutch Darts Masters to hoist himself to the summit of the Order of Merit faces one of the fastest players on planet Darts in Danny Lauby.

World Number One, Luke Humphries takes on former World Seniors Darts Master, David Cameron. Luke Littler will face Canadian Number One, Matt Campbell. A clash that was seen at last year's World Championship. Michael Smith previously sealed the title in the first visit to New York in 2022 and he will open up against North American Champion, Jeff Smith.

Nathan Aspinall faces danger man Stowe Buntz who reached the Grand Slam Quarter-Finals. Whilst Peter Wright similarly faces a tough task. He takes on Cross Border Challenge winner, Alex Spellman. Gerwyn Price will face Dutch-born American Jules van Dongen.

Whilst Rob Cross ends proceedings against debutant Adam Sevada. With the standard of CDC action continuing to increase year on year, the onus will be on the top American names to keep pushing the PDC stars. They have the game seemingly to do so and will aim to cause a Big Apple shock. Also the afternoon session will play host to the North American Championship which will see the winner seal a spot at the PDC World Darts Championship and Grand Slam of Darts. The evening session sees the remainder of the US Darts Masters played out.
