Draw released for Players Championship 27: Aspinall against Anderson and Wade versus Menzies among top ties

This time it comes from the CityWest in Dublin which will be the home of the World Grand Prix and acts as a pre-cursor to the double start tournament.

Michael van Gerwen is not involved today but is involved on Saturday as his preparation steps up for his title defence. Most of the top 32 barring that are playing this weekend.

Raymond van Barneveld is another big name not playing in Dublin likely due to not qualifying for the World Grand Prix. As a result of MVG not playing, Ian White is top seed and he will take on Scott Baker.

Of the top ties though, Nathan Aspinall will take on Gary Anderson and James Wade against Cameron Menzies will face off in the first round.
