Durrant and Ratajski on verge of European Tour seeding for the first time

Glen Durrant and Krzysztof Ratajski are seemingly heading for a seeded position in future European Tour events, it has been revealed after the ProTour Order of Merit was updated.
Ratajski sits 18th and Durrant 19th with the latter especially looking well set to go even higher due to it being his first year on the tour, he doesn't have to defend any previously acquired prize money.
'The Polish Eagle' on the other hand has to defend a double title win in October but is looking good at the minute to add to his total and avoid too much of a demise in his ranking.
It seems likely they will be seeded for the 11th and 12th events and with five events to go before the cut-off including this weekend, two Players Championship events which both perform well in; this may be a foregone conclusion.
Mensur Suljovic seems likely though to drop out of the seedings for these events at least. Suljovic currently sits 9th but will likely end up at 21st by the time these events hit and with Suljovic missing quite a few events it won't get better for the Austrian.
Finally Dave Chisnall after his title win at the Danish Darts Open is now up to 4th and with him only just behind Gerwyn Price, he could progress even further.
The ranking on the Pro Tour Order of Merit is based on the performance of players in the last twelve months on the floor tournaments and the European Tour. The top 16 of the Pro Tour rankings are automatically qualified for the European Tour tournaments. They skip the first round during these events facing a qualifier in the second round.
The top 32 in this ranking has protected status also at the Players Championship events. They cannot face seeded players in the first two rounds of the floor tournaments.
