Durrant on verge of potential seeding for PDC World Championship debut

Glen Durrant has moved on the verge of being seeded for his debut at the Alexandra Palace for the PDC World Darts Championship in December.

Durrant has assured himself of a debut already having topped the ProTour Order of Merit; with minimum money added for the rest of the year. With that money he is only just behind the top 32 in the world continuing his astonishing rise including a semi-final at the World Matchplay; so with a few more deep runs in TV tournaments he could find himself in the seeds on his debut.

'Duzza' could be joined on debut by fellow former BDO standouts Jamie Hughes and Mark McGeeney; who set to come through the ProTour Order of Merit. McGeeney despite not having the plaudits that Durrant has had if he makes it will be playing only a year on from being involved at Lakeside.

In other news with money added on also, Raymond van Barneveld could also be involved despite not being seeded with the Dutch legend provisionally far up in the ProTour Order of Merit. This of course is dependent on 'Barney's willingness to play and qualify for future events but the signs look good potentially.
