Durrant 'really happy' after dream World Matchplay debut win over Lewis: 'It's a special feeling'

Glen Durrant enjoyed a dream World Matchplay debut easing past Adrian Lewis to set up a tie with Michael van Gerwen as a result in the second round.
Durrant spoke afterwards and called it a special feeling to move through. He added that for him it was the reason he came to the PDC and that he felt the support from the crowd. He added that he hopes they are there on Tuesday when he faces off against Mighty Mike.
"I'm really happy now and it's a special feeling," said Durrant. "I came to the PDC because I wanted to play the best in the world and I'm a huge fan of Adrian Lewis.
"It was a magical feeling tonight and I had great support from the crowd - I hope that they're back here on Tuesday when I play Michael too!
"It's a great opportunity to showcase my talent - I'm a proud BDO champion and on Tuesday I will play the best player in the world."
