Michael van Gerwen was in action a week and a half ago at the US Darts Masters, where he lost 6-4 to eventual winner Rob Cross in the quarterfinals.
Van Gerwen stayed in the USA for a while afterwards, traveling from New York to Las Vegas. "Took a break from the darts tour and enjoying some time off in Las Vegas!
Van Gerwen also posted a photo in which he poses with famous Dutch DJ Tiësto. His wife Daphne and hospitality entrepreneur and television personality Won Yip are also pictured with him. "Had an amazing time backstage with @tiesto. Ready to get back to the oche soon," he writes.
What also stands out is the Rolex Sky-Dweller on Van Gerwen's wrist. That timepiece has a value of over 20,000 euros. Remarkably: that is exactly the amount Van Gerwen could have earned last weekend at the Nordic Darts Masters had he won that tournament. However, the 35-year-old Dutchman chose not to participate in the tournament in Copenhagen, as Gerwyn Price became eventual champion.
