The PDC have announced the participants for Players Championship 11 and 12. These two Pro Tour tournaments will take place on May 20 and 21 in the host city of Leicester.
In total, seven Tour Card holders have decided to skip the upcoming Pro Tour diptych. Corey Cadby, Adrian Lewis, Mickey Mansell, John O'Shea, Christian Perez, Jeff Smith and the recent Czech Darts Open champion, Peter Wright are the players who did not register.
They are replaced by Chris Landman, John Henderson, Ron Meulenkamp, Cam Crabtree, Conan Whitehead, Wayne Jones and Owen Bates. Due to the participation of Landman and Meulenkamp, a total of 24 Dutch people will participate in Leicester.
Each Players Championship tournament will feature £100,000 in prize money. The winner of the event will receive a check for £12,000.
