European Q-School Order of Merit standings after second day: Jules van Dongen in good position to recapture Tour Card

After the second day of the final stage at the 2024 European Q-School, Benjamin Drue Reus leads the European Q-School Order of Merit. The Dane lost to Jelle Klaasen in the day's final on Friday.

Still, Drue Reus may hold high hopes of still grabbing a Tour Card later this week. With six points, he is in excellent shape. Seven points is expected to be enough to win a Tour Card. Jules van Dongen, like his Danish competitor, is on six points. The Dutch American lost to Klaasen in the semifinals on Friday, after 'The Dutch Dragon' already reached the last sixteen on Thursday. Van Dongen lost his Tour Card after the World Darts Championship, but may only need one more point in the next two days to earn back his Tour Card soon.

Not only will the four daily winners receive Tour Cards, but also the thirteen highest ranked players on the PDC European Q-School Order of Merit. With wins from the last 64, players can earn daily points for this ranking.

Also currently in the virtual top-13 are Mario Vandenbogaerde, Chris Landman, Haupai Puha, Lukas Wenig, Wesley Plaisier, Patrick Geeraets, Christian Kist, Rusty-Jake Rodriguez, Stefan Schroder, Patrick Tringler and Tomas Houdek.
