Fallon Sherrock and
Peter Wright have kept their hopes alive of qualifying for the knockout stages of the
Grand Slam of Darts after both sealing deciding leg victories on Sunday night in Wolverhampton.
Sherrock was facing off against Martijn Kleermaker after losing out to Michael van Gerwen in Group G yesterday, but 'The Dutch Giant' chased throughout. Sherrock moved 4-3 ahead and the Dutchman had to hold and then break to seal the win.

It also marks another slice of history for the ladies game as Sherrock joining Beau Greaves who won earlier today means that it is the first time two ladies have won a match in a PDC major on the same day.
While Peter Wright on the other hand saw off Dave Chisnall to keep his hopes alive. Chisnall is rooted to the bottom of the table after two deciding leg losses.
It was another deciding leg win with Wright hitting a 131 checkout en route. This after he lost dramatically to Stowe Buntz on Saturday evening in a stunning loss, but now he goes into his tie with Stephen Bunting aiming to do enough to move through.
While Chisnall after a great season continues to struggle in major tournaments as of late both due to bad draws and poor form at times.
