Field and draw set for Women's World Matchplay 2025: Defending champion Beau Greaves meets Finnish debutant

The field is now set for the PDC Women's World Matchplay and the draw is now complete for Sunday, July 27 after 16 PDC Women's Series events led by Beau Greaves.

Greaves once again dominated the Women's Series and is the woman to beat in Blackpool. She won 10 Women's Series tournaments in 2025 alone, including the last five in a row. Greaves begins her hunt for a third consecutive Matchplay title against Finnish debutante Kirsi Viinikainen, who surprisingly won her first Women's Series tournament in March.

Noa-Lynn van Leuven also returns to action and will be second seed. She faces off against Lorraine Winstanley who makes her return for the first time in three years. She reached a final during the last weekend.

Also on the schedule is a showdown between former winner Fallon Sherrock and Gemma Hayter. Sherrock won the first edition of the tournament in 2022 and was a finalist last year. Hayter had a breakthrough year in 2024 with two tournament wins and will compete for the first time at the Women's World Matchplay.

In the final quarterfinals, former Tour Card holder and four-time Lakeside champion Lisa Ashton will take on Ireland's Robyn Byrne, who made it to the semifinals last year.

The tournament will be played out in full on Sunday afternoon, July 27, with the quarterfinals followed by the semifinals and finals. The prize fund contains 25,000 pounds, of which 10,000 pounds will go to the winner. The eventual champion will compete in the Grand Slam of Darts and PDC World Darts Championship.
